Baffin Bay Networks now present in the UK and Ireland
As of this autumn, Baffin Bay Networks is present in the UK and Ireland. The UK and Irish market are markets we see high potential in; information technology maturity is high and so is awareness around cybersecurity - initiatives such as the The National Cyber Security Centre, with the aim to make the UK the safest place to live and do business online, tells parts of the story. Many reports also show that UK businesses face a growing threat from cyber-attacks, some figures indicating nearly half of all companies been hit over the last year. Our man on the ground is Paul Dobson. Paul has over 20 years experience in IT Sales, Sales Management and Channel Management, and has worked for some of the largest global IT Vendors, VARs and SI`s in the world.
Covering the region of South of Europe, based in France, is our new sales team consisting of Eric (Regional Sales Manager) and Jean Paul (Security Engineer). Together they have over 35 years of experience in the IT-security field. A few weeks ago we visited the Les Assisesin Monaco, one of the major cyber security events in France. If you missed us there, next year we’ll be at more events in France: meet us at the FIC, International Cybersecurity forum, 22-23 January and later in spring of 2019 we’ll visit the Ready for IT event. Baffin Bay Networks - Winner of ETI Digital Challange
The EIT Digital Challengeis a pan-European innovation contest for deep tech scale-ups driving Europe's digital transformation, organized by EIT Digital. The contest runs in five categories: Digital Industry, Digital Cities, Digital Wellbeing, Digital Infrastructure and Digital Finance. Out of over 200 applicants, Baffin Bay Networks won 1st prize in the category Digital Infrastructure - and named one of the 10 best European deep tech scale-ups. The prize includes a 12 months dedicated growth support from the EIT Digital Accelerator, to scale up the business.
